Singapore Airlines is running a limited time fare sale for economy, premium economy or business class travel from North America (LAX, JFK, IAH, SFO, SEA and YVR) to some of their popular destinations starting from $300 one-way. Return trip will be slightly higher, for instance, Los Angeles to Cebu Philippines will be about $823 round trip, or Los Angeles to Tokyo [singaporeair.com] (NRT) for $680 RT Nonstop. The special fares is limited to select days of the week.

You could find better prices (around 800) for Round-trip travel.

Sadly for IAH, for example the cheapest is IAH to MAN but return flights are around 2x or more Frown

Similarly I have been eyeing travel to Bali Aug-Nov range, and this is marginal savings: I've been seeing $989 roundtrip from LAX and I'm now seeing a few dates with $909, nothing hugely deeply discounted unfortunately.

I do rank Singapore Airlines up there with EVA and AVA as far as quality though...

the prices for economy is actually pretty good for singapore air. i mean like the lax-nrt is 680, nonstop...yes, you can get cheaper on a different airline but it's really no comparison to the service.

Well that's good to hear! We are doing JFK to HAN and HKT to JFK in May in economy. They are swapping out Airbus for Boeing for JFK to FRA/FRA to SIN (and the reverse) starting in May. Not sure if that will make a difference.

Never done flights even close to that long, so am a bit worried about getting through it.

Does anyone happen to know if Singapore airlines will go to HND non stop for this price in the upcoming months? Planning a trip in October (hopefully) and want to land in HND so will wait for a deal...but if this is too good a deal to pass up then maybe I should bite? TIA for any insight fellow SDers!
