Any one used the unicord combo magic clip set? is it worth it?

Thanks that's what I ended up doing. I have a corded peanut that has lasted me forever. Had the cordless peanut and I rarely used it because it felt so much weaker.

Barber here. Magic clips are definitely professional quality. I wouldn't trust anyone with my hair whose never at least tried them. 2nd standing and cutting all day… I prefer the lighter clipper that doesn't get tangled around anything. They last quite a while (2+ years) and I'm cutting everyday and you can always buy a new battery….or buy another one. But a consumer who will use it at home maybe once or twice a month….it will last sooooo much longer

Bought the 5 star senior. Originally bought a set at Costco it was nothing compared to my old wahl from 15 years ago. Also, is it a must to get the professional grade cutting guide or the nylon included with the kit does the job? I usually cut my hair 3 times a month.

Well I got the Barber Dryer, the Unicord Combo (Magic clips and razor edger) and the 5 star cape for exactly $100….pretty happy with that! Big thanks OP and to all commenters who provided some much needed advice!!!

Can't go wrong with either of them. Both real good clippers. The trimmers I would lean for hero, but both should be good.

Thanks for that heads up…I just went with the cheaper bundle, the Magic/Edger. I started to get antsy that code would stop working in the short time I was scrolling comments here and Wahl's website…..
