I would definitely get it for the Steam Deck, just so you have the option for M&K.
I also have bought this twice, once for ps4 and once on Steam - I definitely preferred the mouse and keyboard over the controller. Also if you haven't played it yet, it's HARD early on.

Good to know. Isn't the switch game scaled for tv and small screen specifically? With controller? Do you know if I can port those QOL changes back to steam? I play in small screen almost entirely, I've never actually docked the deck so that aspect is important
Mods for deck / pc would be great to make things easier… but the switch controller and display changes may be useful for me as a frequent flyer.

There is couch co-op, at least on the PS4.
