    I have had this one for a few years. The color is peeling off due to family members running thru the dishwasher. It also leaks unless you really crank down the lid, I find the lid to be too short to get a good grip on it. I prefer my other style zojirushi's much more.

    I grabbed a brown one of these in a past deal at the same price and prefer this more than the commonly seen slim version. The extra wide opening makes it super easy to clean and the metal part that flips the lid open is flush instead of jutting up a half inch or so, slightly in the way of your bottom lip when taking a swig. (I've heard this is not the case with the version of the slim bottle made in Japan, but those rarely are on sale.)

    Having owned several versions from zuri I would say this is the most American.

    I do prefer the skinner version but it is taller.

    No regrets on this version

    Just picked one up. Love the brand, we have at least 4 bottles, if you don't count them 2 lost by the kids. Argh! I also prefer this style bc it's easier to clean than the skinny ones and when I want it to cool down faster, the wider mouth increases surface area for cooling. No problems with leaking unless I overfill. Paint is peeling a little bit but I've had it for over 5 years now, I think.

    Anyone have an alternative to this that is Ceramic that they like? Something that seals equally good (can be thrown around in a car)

    I love everything about the Zojirushi's except the metallic taste with hot coffee.

    My brown one from a previous Slickdeal doesn't leak and I use it daily. Don't put mine in the dishwasher though. I like how this fat one fits in the cup holders better and also fits under my Keurig to brew directly inside.

    Can't think of a situation where the really tall skinny one is better (and I have small hands too).

    Note this is not dishwasher safe and the dishwasher will probably damage the vacuum.

    In for one. I have the skinny tall version, but the size is inconvenient for cleaning and putting under coffee machines.
