After having tried the Razer Ornata "mecha-membrane" I personally can absolutely tell it's a membrane keyboard, and it doesn't feel too great imo. Not sure if this is any better, but I don't care to find out to be perfectly honest. Give it a try, by all means, but I wouldn't expect too much personally.

I'd suggest that if you're already accustomed to a mechanical keyboard, there isn't really a membrane keyboard out there that's going to suddenly bring you back. No need to feel bad about passing on a membrane keyboard unless you're shopping for a particular price/application.

I have a Razer Hunstman V2 at home and love it. I was looking for something at least similar feeling for the office. So I guess you could say that I am indeed looking for a particular price/application. I want a mechanical keyboard for the office, and I don't want to spend another $200 on it lol

Ergonomic boards are way to go. With palm rests.

With these kind you have to hover your hands over it. It's a pain.

Look into keychon v/k lines. Much better than your standard Corsair/Logitech stuff for under 100

I agree completely, you are better off getting a no name brand mechanical keyboard. These all suck.
