Hey All, shopping in this $500-600 range for my wife. She really just needs basics for word processing etc. Touch screen is a plus.

Screen on the victus isn't the best although it's higher refresh rate but for your usecase ( i am assuming it to be basic excel word and some yt, web surfing, media consumption etc) it won't matter and color gamut is trash (45%ntsc) and 1650 being a crappy dgpu isn't also of any use to you. So you're left with yoga7 and flex5. If you can get away with 8gb of ram choose yoga, built on yogas are superior to flex ( flex is lenovo's budget segment whereas yoga is their premium one). Note that ram on both is soldered so you can't upgrade it. And if touch screen isn't necessary check out dell inspiron 13 on dell' s site. You can also find the same on SD. Also check out hp pavilion aero on their site.

Thanks so much for this incredibly helpful reply. I would think we can get away with 8gb of ram. So I'll likely go for this. I also like the taller screen, fingerprint reader and USB c ports. I did look at your aero but she wants a 16-17" screen. Thanks!
