So far so good?
APU: 6800H is definitely a good processor but I feel like it really isn't shining that much in this laptop. I am getting CPU Benchmarks of around 20,000 when the average is around 24,000. Furthermore, the GPU seems really weak with only access to 4 gib of memory... I would really like to squeeze out extra performance on this laptop - so if anyone has any tips I am open.
Screen: Screen is pretty good... Its 60hz but color accuracy is decent. It also works well outside and indoors.
Build quality: its "OK" definitely not XPS or ThinkPad quality. Deck has a little bit of flex but its not really that obvious. Keyboard is so easily to type on, I am able to hit max typing speed the moment I started typing on it. Touchpad is large - but still a pretty generic windows touchpad.
Battery Life: absolutely amazing. I do alot of coding and multitasking. Runs simple tensorflow code tests throughout the day without really needing to charge. On average I get around 8 hours to 9 hours of battery life.
One quirk that I found is that if you use another (non-Lenovo charger that comes out of the box) it MUST be PPS and PD3.0 or else it will charge at a meager 45 watts instead of the full wattage. On my Anker 747 it was only charging at 25 watts too... And I am not sure why.

Edit: ah the screen is non-touch. Anyone care to comment on the screen quality ? Also, is this thing relatively new or are they slated to come out with newer models ? having a hard time getting a read on whether i should jump on it or just snooze.
Edit: I'm all about power consumption as I am not a heavy user/gamer. Can someone comment on how much worse the 6800H is on battery in comparison to a 6800U ?
they use ID.ME if that creeps you out, but there are other discounts associated with that as well.

I've had a Thinkbook 13s AMD 4th gen very similar to this for the last few months, cost about the same. It is VERY nice for a consumer laptop. It has a business laptop vibe with a bit more flair to it, vs. something like an XPS or macbook that is more 'luxury consumer'.
From what I gather this is a bit bulkier than the 13s but has better thermal management and higher power limits. Obviously the bigger screen.
The first one I received was bent. The next machine had weird issues, some of them I can't remember anyone. The worst thing is the machine kept restarting all on its own. Usually once a day, if not multiple times.
It's been incredibly difficult to get in touch with any type of support. Even their escalation managers. They replaced my motherboard with no resolution. They then sent me another replacement laptop. Same issue. Randomly restarting. They sent me another replacement and the same exact issue. The amount of time I've spent on this device is ridiculous.
The second unit also failed to wake up sometimes. After a trip out of town it would no longer take a charge. I thought it was the cables but later resolved the issue by performing some sort of hard reset by holding the power button for 20-30 seconds.
I couldn't recommend Lenovo any less after this experience. I don't trust their products. Or their service. They didn't care to look into these issues and have them resolved. I'm not alone either. Luckily it hasn't happened to you.
I know now have a Dell XPS and I'm relieved to have the issue resolved. Still trying to get in touch with Lenovo to process my return. Of course my emails are going unanswered.
This model may not have any issues, but tread lightly.

Granted I've not used mine heavily, it's just a secondary travel casual machine for me that gets light use, but I'm hoping to get 5+ years out if it. I did open it up right away and straighten out the touch pad so it didn't have a big gap on one side, then I swapped out the SSD and installed W10E LTSC 21H2 plus drivers which seems to work well. I did have to turn off USB standby power in the bios so it wouldn't drain with a flash drive plugged in. I've also noticed it heating up fast sitting on a soft surface without proper venting. I don't usually sleep the machine and will shut it down.
