Darn I just bought $400 worth of Cricket cards from Kroger deal at 12% off. This would have given me 14.5%

Instead of saving $48, I could have saved $58

isn't it better to buy with chase card bc chase's 5% back is on $45 which is 4.50? $5+4.50=9 so that makes it 19% off?

The math here perplexes me. 5% of $45 is $2.25 for a total of $42.75 which is 14.5% off. You save the same 5% with Chase or Target Redcard.

This deal is better than the Kroger 12% deal if you use Red Card right? 10% off plus 5% red card?
Kroger charges wireless taxes on the gift card so this is better.

For AT&T, can you load substantially more than my bill. The cards carry a 90-day expiration, but could I just apply them to the account to preserve the value longer than 90 days?

Say my bill is $70, could I apply $300 to pay for 4.5 months?

But this is not that deal. That BOGO deal (that you described) is essentially 5% off your entire purchase. This deal is twice as good: 10% off your purchase. This deal is the best deal Target ever offers (if you purchase with a Target RedCard, or any card that gives 5% off this quarter).
With kroger you can buy much higher amounts on one card, plus several credit cards give an extra 3% for online, like amex and boa.

You can load any amount you want. But if they are the $50 cards then the balance will have only 90 days validity after you load. So even if you load 300 ($50x6 cards) at a time it won't last you 4.5 months. But if one of that is a $100 card the validity extends by a year from the time you load Or you can save half the cards and load as time goes.

It is better even without tax. Kroger 12% vs Target 14.5%. However you can only buy $50 at a time with Target.

Adding 3% for cc online cash back 13+3=16%. Does kroger charge sales tax for Florida? I dont think so, but they have many cc issues in general.

BofA Online Shopping 3%? Hasn't counted for me last few times, since it codes as POI Funding Transactions which are excluded.

Thanks. So I assume the amex online 3% won't work either?

Haven't tried Amex but in general BofA is more tolerant.
