G2X Ugly Stick. 2 piece works well for travel, but die hard go for 1. Pick a light or ultralight. Put some 6# test line on it. You can grab all this all Walmart or Academy or the like. I prefer academy for lures and gear. Watch some videos on Texas Rig. Mess with live worms, powerbait, rooster tails, and plastics. Then work your way up. I'd recommend a spinning rod over a bait caster, but that's preference.

$13 is the lowest I see ... maybe it's an employee mistake only entering the 1 of 13 ... or they drop eventually from 13 to $1 ....
