At this price it is good. The first LiS is still by far the best, but personally I think this is the next, then Before the Storm and 2 last. 2 felt too long and this one was too short, but I'll take that over the drag of 2. I definitely liked it and think this series just has a lot of varying opinions because of each games characters, message, and music grabbing some and not others.

Detroit: Become Human is also an amazing walking simulator game.....and its phenomenal graphics (if you have a powerful PC) makes it even more immersive.

I've heard bad things about it, I see why it's on sale, but to each their own, glad some people liked it

Love this series, I go back to all the games often.

If you like this, I also recommend What Remains of Edith Finch and Oxenfree. I love walking simulators!

For someone who's never played any of this series, should they be played in order?

Price has been the same at Gamestop since December. Amazon just happens to price match it now.

Life is Strange 1 and Before the Storm are tied together narratively, but LiS 2 and True Colors are each stand-alone narratives with only a few characters and easter eggs providing references to the other games. That is to say, the ideal experience is probably playing them in order, but it's not essential.

Nope. The stories have almost nothing to do with each other. You may catch an Easter egg or a reference here and there, but they're all separate stories.

Yep, game, entire franchise in fact, belongs in a landfill.
Yikes.
Someone doesn't like narrative storytelling…

For others: played this, it's pretty good. Some clever attention to detail. Great music. The analysis of what other players chose during decision points was really cool.

I played LIS2 with the brothers and thought it was awesome. How do you rate the others? Been on the fence about which one to give a go
