Thx for posting the deal, unfortunately so many Jcrew products are complete trash nowadays. You really have to be picky. If I had to guess (based on the "Heritage" line) this will shrink 1.5-2 sizes the first time it goes in the dryer, as several of my "Heritage" tshirts have. Be wary

Totally, I'd take that into account too, along with the 1 star reviews… which are pretty brutal. Jcrew's review system automatically sorts them so that "Highest Rating" reviews come first.

I'm not who you quoted but yeah: J.Crew quality has gotten worse since the pandemic/bankruptcy etc. The main things I notice are fewer 100% cotton options (i.e. more cotton/poly blend fml) and uglier colors/shirt patterns.

You can change the sorting to most recent which I feel is a better view into the current item. Often the same items, their "lines" are multiple years old with quality reducing over time.

This is not a similar comparison. There is a big difference in quality, weight and stitching. Take it as you want but here's an article about it from GQ https://www.gq.com/story/j-crew-h...ece-hoodie.

I have 4 of this hoodie in different colors , bought for $25-40 on sale. I love it , awesome quality and feels substantial. I either air dry or tumble dry on low with very little shrinkage.

A hanger is how I dry them.

To everyone else, I appreciate all the concern over this $23 investment but I've already rolled the dice. Call me a gambling man if you must but sometimes I like living on the edge. Best case...I love it. Worst case...I have a cheap hoodie to do yard work in. I'll let you all know how it pans out.
