I truly like B&H but back-ordered stuff often never comes in and gets refunded so I would YMMV with this and try not to pass up if other deals happen in the meantime.

The nitro build quality is not the best imho, the Helios 300 can be found at these prices on the acer outlet website from time to time and is a superior pc at equal cpu/gpu specs

It also has a 150W 3070 and a 14 core i7 so I think the most they could shave off while keeping cooling suitable for these components would be at most 1 lb.

For comparison, the Asus ROG Strix Scar has a Ryzen 9 5900HX and a 130W 3080 and it weighs 5.07 lbs.

The only way to get it to 4.5 lbs is to compromise the cooling or purchase a more premium device.
