The draw here is the QuickLok setup. One base, one set of batteries for pole saw, weedwacker, hedge trimmer, edger and whatever else they make (did anybody else see that street sweeper attachment???). If cost is the only driver, Milwaukee is never ever the go-to ๐Ÿ˜‰

Some really good options on the M18 pole saw right now. If you need the battery this is probably the lowest we'll see for a while.

It's a good deal but for 90% of home owners, you can pick up an atlas cordless from harbor freight for under 70 bucks still. I guess some people can really use this but most people can find a better deal for DIY use under 100 bucks

i have a ficus tree i need to trim 2-3 times a year with a pole hedger. but now the lower part is getting too thick for the hedger. will the pole saw do the job. i definitely need the reach as it's about 15-20ft high

Yes it should, as long as it's not wider than the length of the bar/chain.

Not seeing just the pole saw with a "free" battery though. Maybe in store you could split the OPs deal, but not online.

That said, wife got this for me for Christmasโ€ฆ used it a few times, works quite well for its size. Also much nicer standing on the ground than on a ladder with a sawzall/pruning blade ๐Ÿ™ƒ

OP you should probably update your title to include "FUEL" since there's a non-FUEL M18 lineup(probably no pole saw but still).

Thanks OP snagged one. I really like my current HO 6.0 so another plus the pole saw I've wanted for a long while sealed the deal. Best price together I could imagine shipped.

If you don't need the battery, you can still get the pole saw, the extension, and the string trimmer head for $266 after hack/returning the battery.

I already have plenty of 6.0 batteries.

Good deal if you have any use at all for the extra 6.0. The included extension is a must and runs $70ish by itself. Not quite as much reach as the manual lopper/pruners, but 10x faster. I do enjoy the versatility of the quik lok system; 95% of the time the string trimmer stays on, but it's nice to have other options available for occasional use.

Just ordered, I wish my m12 lineup chargers would have m18 ports. That would have been a great way for m12 people to move to m18...It sucks I have to buy an m18 charger now.
