They will try to snake their way out of paying owed bonuses any way they can. They failed to pay me and the Mrs (2 separate accounts) earned bonuses from those activatable offers we all get with Citi, Chase, Bank of America, etc. for specific merchants. After 2 months back and forth on phone calls, emails, etc. after I disproved every excuse they provided, they settled on saying we were disqualified because we each have a business credit card with them. When I asked what one has to do with the other, why we received emails for the offers, why we were able to activate them, etc. I was told: "That was a mistake and anyone with a business account is ineligible to receive any cashback offers on personal accounts." What?? Written nowhere in their terms. They just make it up as they go along.

There is no US Bank branch in TX, so how do you close the account if you would like to close later on? Maybe they allow online.

Did you file a complaint with your state attorney general or Consumer Financial Protection Bureau? I plan on making copies of everything and filing those when they fail to pay.

I've done 5-6 bonuses at US Bank, always received them all. Personal checking, and credit cards. I got instantly approved for this one, If I have issue I'll just send a secure message.

a couple questions
- If I apply it by 4/23 but the review and approval come after 4/23, will the promotion be honored?
- Is bank-to-bank transfer considered "deposit" or has it to be direct deposit?

I got a flyer in the mail offering $600 to switch to US Bank and after reading these comments, I don't think I will. I also understand why Lyrics Born has a skit call U-Ass bank 😂
