This is a great deal on the usb hub. Few hubs offer 4k60 in their hdmi output. There's an Anker that does but it goes for 75 bucks (60s with coupon). I wouldn't believe the specs off many no-name brands, but I've had nothing but good experiences with Ugreen so far. So, I'm in for one. Thanks OP.
This will work for multiple devices going to 1 monitor. What you'll need is a KVM switch that supports multiple monitors but I am not sure if they make ones that supports 3 monitors. If they do, it will be pricey.
I noticed Ugreen has a ax1800 usb adapter out now, 1 review, no coupon though. Downside is its the stick kind without any antennas, weird design choice.
Next usb wifi adapter I buy might as well be an ax1800 since those have been out since mid 2021.
Bought the Bluetooth adapter but I did notice theres some potential problems with the power button, will report back if I have that issue.
Bought the hub over a year ago when it was 25ish from a code posted here, has been fine. Gets very hot but expected.
Looks like Atmos is supported, but does it auto switch? Does it support Logitech Harmony Hub? I'm looking for something more friendly for my setup as my current one switches to whatever the newest active input is, and ignores anything from my Hub.
I use this* for my work setup so I can easily unplug my laptop when I don't to be in my office. It works fine but only has 2 USB plugs and I need 3 (speakers, mouse, and keyboard). It doesn't play well with my USB splitter and sometimes I need to unplug the splitter and plug it back in. This happens maybe once a week.
Just a heads up the output port is on the side. I'm not sure why 90% of all these manufactures do this. Good HDMI cables tend to be stiff, and this takes up a lot of room on the desk because of that stupid side output.
Can anyone recommend a good HDMI splitter but maybe a little more cost effective? Don't know I need all the ports on this one though
Kind of depends what you want to do with it. I use an Orei 4x2 matrix splitter to mix and match an Xbox and Playstation displaying on both a projector and a monitor.
I can have the same image on both outputs, or one console on the projector and the other on the monitor, for example.
It does get a little wonky going between the 2 since they are different resolutions, it will default the the lower resolution if displaying on both. But you can get full resolution on just the single display of you want too.
Is it possible to connect other Bluetooth devices like keyboard, mouse and printer at the same time to switch connections with multiple computers?
With that we can switch personal and work computers and use same monitor, mouse and keyboard.
I'd love to be wrong on this, but what I've read is that Bluetooth devices pair with the host machine, not its adapter. If you used a Bluetooth USB dongle to pair a mouse with machine A and then moved the dongle to machine B, B would not know about the mouse and the mouse would keep looking for A.
Where are all the techy people? I need a recommendation on a product. I use three monitors for work hooked up to a docking station. I really want a switch that'll help me bounce back and forth between my work and personal laptop. Will this work? Other product recommendation?

What are you trying to do?
Thanks for the reply. Mine is more simple - essentially expand the HDMI ports on my tv. I do have multiple inputs (game consoles, fire tv stick, PC, eARC for soundbar) but want to ensure picture quality is good from all sources.

Can someone suggest me something or help me here? I have one HP desktop which has HDMI and USB A ports only. I purchased one USB C docking station. But my desktop has only HDMI port. I want to connect two display monitor with this docking station. I went to micro center but they didn't have HDMI male to USB C female. They suggested you can buy USB A male to USB - C female and it will work. I purchased it but it didn't work. Does anyone has any suggestion, wheat should I do this to work or I have to get another adapter?

*edit, by this I mean the 7in1 USB c hub.
Most modern devices (Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV (all generations), Roku, and Chromecast) are always on and use standby mode when not in use.
