The question is if they slowly unstick like the cheap harbor freight junk

3M for sure is great but Duck brand, even their packing tape doesn't stick to itself

There are places to try and save money. Electrical tape is not one of them. Stick with Super 33, accept no alternative

Depends on your use case, right? I used to use it to hold my shin guards in soccer back when, it provides a smooth surface, it can be used to hold cables in place, it can shim a round surface, etc. I'd say I only use electrical tape as insulation for 10% of the roll max.

I ended up buying a box of 6 of these types of rolls on Prime day for like $3 I don't know what to use them for other than wrapping electrical wires.

I never use electrical tape for wires - but I do use it to cover all of the stupid super bright led's that plague electronics these days

This is what I'm looking for. My home server sits in my living room and the blinking hard drive activity light can't be disabled. I'm thinking the easiest thing is just to stick some electrical tape over it.

I bought a similar deal. I got the yellow color tape and have been using it to label wires (line, load, traveler, etc). Works much better than the cheap adhesive labels some smart switches give you. I also got the bigger white tape and use it to label boxes as I find it's easier to read and peel off than painter's tape. Painter's tape more readily tears itself or the box.

I have also used vinyl tape to attach a non-fitting hose to my miter saw's vacuum port. I recently used vinyl tape to attach a hose adapter to the inside of my Ryobi 3 gal cordless wet vac so I can fit a 3 gal vac bag. Worked well.

I'm thinking you can use the narrow tape to mark your stop point on a drill bit. Cover a squeeze bottle's hole, cover silicone tube for storage/reuse, cover electrical box holes if needed.

I'm usually all about saving, but being an electrician for many years I have to say avoid being cheap on tape. 3M is much better tape and sticks better. When it's a permanent install that matters always go super 33 or super 88 if it's going to be cold. All other uses 3M 165 or 1700 tape works good.
