I just got the king-size version of this and it was a breeze to install it, especially with the handy tool it came with. Sturdy enough for this bed frame and solid wood is a plus.

Is the center support beneath the slats steel? If so, this may be the bed I've been searching for. Hopefully supports adult recreation.

I don't see how there'd be room for kickball, softball, volleyball, or any other adult recreation on this bed.

I had a couple of beds from Zinus (different models at similar price) they are surprisingly on par or better compared to expensive beds (from stability and usability perspective). The expensive beds (most of them) require box spring, and this bed is at the cost of a box spring and it doesn't require a box spring.

I think either one is fine, I have owned Shalini since 2019, still like new, no ripped, no torn, no faded.

As long as it's 6.3" or less. That's what is shown as the clearance from floor to underside of the outer bed frame.
