Tempting, even after passing on the $83 ASUS Z590-PLUS TUF Gaming WiFi deal this past Sunday. Any opinions on this particular board?

If you build something new, better skip gen 10/11 for a lot better performance from either Zen 3 or Gen 12/13.

Lga1200 is dead and gone sadly. These motherboards are awesome but the cpus are not, if you want cheap ryzen 5th gen starts cheaper and is faster and better upgrade ability , if you must have Intel 12/13th gen is way faster and the CPUs are generally cheaper now.
If you have a a 10/11th gen on a low end motherboard or prebuilt, this is a cool cheap upgrade

Well, at this price, performance should not be a concern, this combined with a cheapo CPU may create a great NAS or a low idle power server.

I have an i3 rig with similar board that idles at under 30w, with great expandability.

i wouldn't buy into this when it's almost 2 intel sockets behind; even for budget builds it's still expensive for what you need it for lol

intel parts are still above $200 so barrier of entry is still pretty rough
