wanted to try rogue corps, but seems reviews are bad, just looking at the textures it looks outdated

Do you still have to type in the joystick codes during the title screen like you did on the Nintendo to get unlimited lives.

Don't do it. I've enjoyed every contra game I've ever tried except this one. It's complete and utter trash.

In my experience, remembering and daydreaming about 1980s Nintendo games is better than replaying Nintendo games in the modern day. I've done it with a few games and the nostalgia just isn't there once I actually play the game.

I play 8bit , 16bit & arcade games all the time. A lot hold up great.

I still have my nes and SNES from the 80s and 90s. I just joined a company two years ago with a bunch of newly hired college graduates. I overheard them raving about the old school video games they just discovered and loved and found out some of the games they were talking about were for NES and SNES, like mario 3, lol.
