I'm not sure if it only happened to people who got 2 months free but just a heads up that I (and have seen many others post about it too) redeemed a 2 month free after trying to cancel my sub, and was subsequently charged after the first month. And they wouldn't refund it even though it was a mistake on their end. Just a heads up!

don't fall for it. What happens is the free month is considered a coupon and if you take an additional free month, on the renewal date it will bill you because apparently you cannot apply 2 coupons. it is a bug with the system even though your next billing date shows 60 days

I went to cancel my 1 month trial earlier this morning and they gave another free month. Surely it helps them to have subscriber numbers for their stock price not to drop

I signed up for one month free trial. Got charged $9.99 on 2/27 (the day I canceled.) See image of email from Paramount+ - based on that email, would you expect them to charge on 2/27 or 2/28?

EDIT: Literally 10 minutes after I posted this, Paramount+ credited back the $9.99. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
