Good deal as long as you're not planning on gaming on it. This one has real bad black smear & ghosting issues.

I got in on this deal when it was front page back during Christmas. It's a decent monitor. I use it for business application and nothing more. If you plan on gaming or doing video editing I would not recommend.

Own one. Beast for office functions, decent for gaming. Not going to be otherworldly, but if you're coming from a standard wide 27-32", it's pretty sweet. I can run 3 windows side by side in office tasks. Note that some games aren't optimized for this screen format, so you'll get black letterboxing on the outer 3-4" on each side (left/right).

Did you come from a VA monitor or IPS? Currently have two 27" IPS monitors, wondering if it's worth upgrading to this for office work

Depends on your use case. I was using a 27" IPS panel @ 1440p no curved panel (ASUS Designo or something like that) and then flipped over to a 32" curved Acer VA panel with similar specs.

If I was doing anything with design, I'd probably go with IPS. The colors pop more, and the whites are cleaner IMO, but the blacks look like trash. If you're just doing general WFH, this is a great monitor. If you want to game on it, understand it's restrictions and have a PC that can push it to 100hz. There's a law of diminished returns on Hz - 60 to 100Hz is a big jump, 100 to 144Hz isn't nearly as dramatic, but still noticeable if you're coming from 144Hz down to 100Hz.

FWIW, this is coming from a guy who also owns OLED and FALD TVs.

I have two non-curved 1080p 27" IPS monitors that I use primarily for WFH and other non-gaming/non-photo editing work. But I do use them for music production, not sure if that's really going to change my experience in the DAW. Appreciate your response

I have had 2 of these for over a year - awesome monitors for business, games or TV. The best part - they have built-in speakers. No need for bulky speakers on your desk.

I use LG35VA/HP24IPS combo. LG35VA is a very good office monitor. I often split my screen into four windows. I prefer LG35VA (deeper blacks), but YMMV.
