About this Item:
Azul is a tile placement game in which players become artisans tasked with creating the most beautiful tiled mosaics. Compete for the highest score by claiming tiles and arranging them on your board to score points
Draft tiles from a central market and place them into rows on their boards. Earn extra points by collecting sets of the same color tile and creating particular patterns. Be careful - there are penalties for taking tiles that you can't use
Every tile you claim affects what your rivals can take next. Plan carefully to score big points while disrupting your opponents' plans. You'll have to make choices that help you without helping them too much
Strategic but simple to learn with subtle depth, Azul is a perfect gateway game for gamers new to board gaming or those looking to expand their collections. Randomized setup and drafting gameplay make Azul infinitely replayable
This board game for adults and family can be played with 2 to 4 players and is suitable for ages 8 and older. The average playtime is 30 - 45 minutes.

This is the Board Game that got me into modern board games. It's considered to be a modern classic by many. It's not too complicated but strategic enough to keep it fresh for many plays. Definitely jump on this!

what about price wise, this the cheapest it's been?

I ordered this exact one from Amazon on February 23rd for $27.
FYI- It's been in 'limbo' for the last few days where it was supposed to be delivered a few days ago but hasn't shipped yet.
This is a great game. I got it for $16 from Target (Amazon also had it at that same price) a long while back around Nov 2021 when it was on sale. Haven't seen it go that low again since. But I was tempted to pick up a copy for a gift for $20 when Barnes and Noble had 1/2 off board games after this past Christmas.
Just played this for the first time two weeks ago. Pretty simple yet some strategy to it. I just picked it up because while I have plenty of complicated board games, this one should be one of the few that's easy enough for a 7yr old, but complex enough to keep adults interested. Also pretty fast paced as long as people aren't over scrutinizing their choices.

According to a CCCertain source, about a year ago was the cheapest it's ever been on Amazon, around $16. I bought it almost 3 years ago for $18, so it's not uncommon for it to drop below $20, but you may need to wait.
It's a beautiful game and easy to learn. It gets more difficult the more who play and it can be extremely challenging to play with a child because they can ruin your strategy because they have none. But, that does point to it's biggest weakness, you can be a victim to a revenge-seeker. So be careful who you play with.
I got this in Nov at about $16-17. Great game. Loved it so much that i had bought a couple to give as gifts. Easy to understand and and a game lasts for about 45 mins. Also keep an eye out on the expansion pack , crystal Mosaic. Thats also pretty good and usually comes on sale.
