I went with PIAA silicone this wipers this last time around but I don't think I'm ever buying another cheap wiper again. The Michelin Costco ones seem to only last a season (or a year at most). Been so pleased with the performance of silicone and I look forward to going several years on these.

Was at autozone 12 hours ago exactly. Didn't have PIAA but that's what I was looking for too, the silicone ones. Recommended on the F150 subreddit. Ended up with the 24" rain-x silicon because I didn't want to kowtow to decision paralysis and keep being annoyed about my shitty wipers. Agree tho, spending $70 on damn windshield wipers feels painful, but my first few wipes were sublime tonight.

They don't seem to have my size in stock on Amazon (14" and 28" for j-hooks). Where do you get your PIAA's?

I got mine on AutoZone.ccom. There are coupons available too that make it a little more affordable. Amazon was pricier and didn't have all my sizes

I bought the Bosch Aerotwin back in 3/27/17 for $26

Been in the -10F mid west winters and 109+F summers. Still going strong

From the reviews, these last about a year sooo.. Guess you're getting your moneys worth. But then you'd have to order, then take off the old one and put on the new one every time. I guess which ever you think is more convenient.

If I was you, I would TAKE back your Rain-X wipers!!! The Rain-X silicone wipers are NO comparison to PIAA. Order the PIAA ones.
Reading your story made me look at these PIAA wipers again and the reviews of the Rain-X vs. PIAA (note, Rain-X for my vehicle is ~$22, PIAA is ~$37!!!).

After reading the reviews, incl this one down below...I'm biting the bullet HARD and going against the SlickDeals mentality of cheap and paying the extra money. Figure it will save me on multiple blades, a complaining spouse,Please, and the hassle of changing them out more often (although, it is only a simple 2-3 min job)....

Just read this review of the PIAA ones...tested by an Amazon user in Houston, TX (lots of heat, humidity, rain, and probably every nasty chemical known to man in the air around there...)

I'm hoping to get at least a year of good service at the prices that I paid for these things. I had never previously heard of PIAA until I saw some Amazon test of the best wipers. Time will tell if these are as good as they are supposed to be and I will update on their performance in the future. As for now, wow they're good.

Update 07/13/19,.... 3 months in and they're still wiping like brand spanking new through the Houston heat, they're definitely better than Rain X's Latitude brand.....still completely satisfied....I'll keep you guys updated.

UPDATE 11/7/19, these are the BEST wipers I've owned, after 7 months and through a hot Houston summer you can see in the new pictures that they're still wiping like brand new, they were worth the money after all.

UPDATE 05/11/20, well you can see from the newest pictures that after more than a year of service these continue to wipe like brand new, they're the first pair of wipers that will remain on the pickup for more than a year.

UPDATE 3/21/21, these things are now 2 years old & they're still wiping like new, they were worth every penny I paid for them, every once in a while they need to be lifted gently & popped back gently against windshield to provide full contact. Time has told me these are excellent.

UPDATE..12/19/21 almost 3 years 3 hot Houston summers & they still don't need replacing yet..I'm thinking the wiper may structurally fail before it functionally does..but for now they're still wiping great..they're worth it!!!..

UPDATE 08/29/22..Nearly 4yrs old, 4 hot Houston summers & they're still wiping like brand new..still going guys!!, see newest 8/22 pictures..these were installed in early 2019 & still going strong in late 22, the made me a believer.
Even Scotty Kilmer (car guy on YouTube) is a fan and has a video about Silicon wipers vs. rubber:

And Project Farm also did a video testing:

I love how this personal essay was able to make the analogy between windshield wiper and toilet paper: you get what you pay for.
