I've been considering trying these door screens to keep out the bugs/flies whenever I let my dog out.....I might pick one up and see how it works.

Has anyone tried using this with a glass sliding door?

Oh, I also want to add that if anyone has a Harbor Freight nearby, a (seemingly) identical product costs ~$9:

For sliding doors, you may want to look into something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Reversible...081HZDXR4/
Where the opening favors one side. Make sure you measure your door opening and you buy a product that fits.
I've used several of these screens in the past, and they all generally work well. But it's worth noting, considering the numerous sellers and brand out there, there are also varying levels of quality. The Harbor Freight item is probably the lowest priced one I've used and it is very "basic" quality. I have it installed on one of my doors now. It's very thin and the magnets keep falling off, but it works for my needs. While I've purchased other items from Amazon that hold together better, stronger magnets, etc. With that said, the HF one is worth getting to try. Just know there are higher quality ones out there.

I always buy one when it goes on sale.

We have a dog and he runs through it and paws the door when its closed and thus adding additional stress.

I dont expect it to last a lifetime but this works, I think it lasts me like 8-9 months and I'm fine with it at this price point.

I purchased the Mago version and it only lasted about 6 months before the small magnet strips tore through the material they were sewn into. I sent them an email about it and never received a response.
I replaced it with a Mpmedo version with a full length magnet. Haven't had it long enough to know if it will hold up better.

I have been using these in my backyard for a couple of years, the first one lasted around a year and a half, but mostly my kid's mistakes they make some holes, otherwise, it was really good, contacted the seller and he provided 50% discount code, ordered and install the new one still going strong. We usually keep the door open during spring and fall time no insects or mosquitos come inside only fresh air.
I would get this one if the length is 96", as my backyard door is 8' in height.

I've been using one of these on my gym shed in summer to keep bugs out for a few years now. It is showing some wear, but still works great. I store it over winter.
