The replacement from amazon has been working weeks without issue.
1- Quicker boot up than my old radio
2- Nice that I could install front and rear cam
3- Wireless android auto is nice.
I wish i got the floating screen since in the Hyundai I installed dash style has the buttons on the bottom recessed few more millimeters than the top. Car had sloping area not flat where radio is. Even when i mod the metra install kit still too shallow. I maybe could mod to tilt but floating would have worked better in my application but more $.

I put the refurb from eBay in my kids car. Been running for about a year now with no issues. I drove it the other day and it really made me jealous compared to the factory Toyota system and my other crappy head unit in the truck. It's a really nice budget head unit. I do agree that the sound is lacking, you would definitely benefit from an amp.

Also, does anyone know how significant the audio delay is for wireless carplay? Is there a lip sync issue if you try to watch a video?

This is Linux so it doesn't boot up instantly like android. But this does support Sirius xm. I'm actually looking for a android unit that supports Sirius as well I don't think they have one yet.
