This is same rack that's on Walmart currently for $219 but I decided to look direct from their website. Has anyone ordered direct from their site - is it legit? They also have their curl bar $29.99 and barbell $59.99 both rated well on Walmart 50% higher price. I ordered and will keep posted haha.
Edit* They cancelled my order 10 days after placing it with no explanation. Email just says 'refunded'. It's 'sold out' now probably because they didn't want anyone buying for that price from their site. Items say refunded in that automated cancelled...we will see how long that takes. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Hulkfit on Amazon, exactly the same as what I got but with metal pins and not straps. You can clearly see the T bolted at the top and bottom. Description is 13 guage and 800lb:

Walmart Lat Pulldown for $130 (also came fine, no issues but pulleys a little stiff, even with grease):

3/8 ID washers, used on every bolt including pulldown:

EDIT: Ordered direct from website. I contacted them to cancel the order. Never replied, shipped anyways. I rejected the package, it was sent back. Contacted them for refund x3. Never replied.

Maybe you can also add some metal bars to lower supports and just hang some free weights, double purpose as weight storage + counter weight.
Did you set up yours?
I am sorry to hear that, I am a bit concerned about mine because once you are committed to it, you might as well figure out instead of trying to package it and return it.
However, after seeing prices of all other cages (proper quality ones $500+ and Dicks is selling $700) I thought even if I could prop this or use it for other purposes, it might be worth keeping it for $169.
Having said that, reading posts like yours, the others also saying it just doesn't feel stable, it's wobbly, and mounting issues (not lining up) I am seriously considering taking it back to Walmart. Do they take online orders back in store? Do I have to ship it back to them? This thing is massive.
About the holes not lining up, someone said that each bar has it's own position, not only front/back placing but also directional position. Did you happen to check those, maybe the bars are supposed to face different direction? Someone said they couldn't line them up until they started over and moved the pieces around then they lined up.
Pls let us know.
PS: My plan was to use this as punching bag bar too, but I think it's too narrow for it, not a lot of people commented on it either, so I ended up buying a punching bag dual station rack with speed bag mount for $120 and that one was an excellent experience. At first one of the bars did not fit, I emailed Everlast, and they shipped me replacement part within 3 days. Amazing support. You definitely get what you pay for. I wouldn't even imagine what would happen if I got no-name from Walmart or Amazon..
This is why I was considering returning this cage and getting just the bench press set for $100 or so. I couldn't find everlas though, maybe they don't make it.
Thanks, I sent it back unopened, I kept it nice and safe in the garage for WM to sell it to next poor soul, or someone who can build their own stuff because the metal alone should be worth half the selling price, Someone can fabricate something I am not sure.
