This is same rack that's on Walmart currently for $219 but I decided to look direct from their website. Has anyone ordered direct from their site - is it legit? They also have their curl bar $29.99 and barbell $59.99 both rated well on Walmart 50% higher price. I ordered and will keep posted haha.

Edit* They cancelled my order 10 days after placing it with no explanation. Email just says 'refunded'. It's 'sold out' now probably because they didn't want anyone buying for that price from their site. Items say refunded in that automated cancelled...we will see how long that takes. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I purchased directly from their website and it came as expected in the timeframe expected. I used Amex to pay since I get 3% back for online purchases, and they are one of the best at resolving claims, which was not required. It was boxed, and then tightly shrink wrapped. Delivered by UPS. There was some tearing in the packaging but everything was fine, I received all the parts and assembled it with no issues. I used a digital caliper and it's 2.4mm about 13 gauge steel. I noticed on Amazon under a different name but same product it said that it's 13 guage and 800 lb capacity not 1k. I'm not upset about that being that I won't get anywhere near that. I squatted 315 and help up fine. Did some 500 lb rack pulls and put it down hard just to see how the pins hold up, no issues. If you look at the picture the yellow posts have the u-shape welded on as one piece. My had a T shaped piece of metal that was bolted on with 17mm bolts. I tried to carefully use my impact wrench to save some time, immediately stripped the threading on the nut. Just used my drill on a low torque setting and tightened by hand the rest of the way. I used washers under the bolt head and nut to make it more secure, at least I feel it is. I bought the lat-pulldown attachment from Walmart since it was $130, and BalanceFrom direct at the time was $150 just to save a few bucks. I bought the 300lb BalanceFrom set from Amazon as well. The pair of 45lb plates from Walmart for $99. Received everything in the end ok. While waiting for the plates to come I bought a bar from someone else being skeptical about the BF bar, but I was surprised at how good it feels. I'll keep the extra bar but not needed if you only want one. I just purchased the trap bar and ez curl bar direct from BF too because I think it's worth it, and the price is right compared to anywhere else. Got their spotter arms (400lb capacity) to be able to do bench or MP press while squatting in the bar. Like a superset but for old fat people that is less super and just a set lol. Anywho, I would buy it again from them direct. I am grateful that this company makes a decent quality product for such an affordable price. I have tried to contact them to ask a question, like a month ago, still waiting to hear back. Click buy, give them your money, and just pray it comes, hopefully get swole.

Hulkfit on Amazon, exactly the same as what I got but with metal pins and not straps. You can clearly see the T bolted at the top and bottom. Description is 13 guage and 800lb:

Walmart Lat Pulldown for $130 (also came fine, no issues but pulleys a little stiff, even with grease):

3/8 ID washers, used on every bolt including pulldown:

I've been trying to get a refund back since June 2022. Haven't gotten a single reply.

EDIT: Ordered direct from website. I contacted them to cancel the order. Never replied, shipped anyways. I rejected the package, it was sent back. Contacted them for refund x3. Never replied.

Quote from Ride_The_Sky :
Pull ups. 2 youtube reviewers mentioned when they were doing pull ups, it was tipping forward. One of them did not install the feet properly, but the other one had the front sticking out in the video even he mentioned it. He said if you just do up and down it's fine but the moment you start doing leg raises with pull ups, or other contraptions (not sure what he means) it starts wobbling and tipping forward. It's kinda dangerous. So if you will be relying on the pull up bar, I suggest maybe propping it down with some extra weights on the back, or honestly, personally i would try to bolt it to floor even if it's semi-permanent installation.
Maybe you can also add some metal bars to lower supports and just hang some free weights, double purpose as weight storage + counter weight.

Did you set up yours?

I am sorry to hear that, I am a bit concerned about mine because once you are committed to it, you might as well figure out instead of trying to package it and return it.

However, after seeing prices of all other cages (proper quality ones $500+ and Dicks is selling $700) I thought even if I could prop this or use it for other purposes, it might be worth keeping it for $169.

Having said that, reading posts like yours, the others also saying it just doesn't feel stable, it's wobbly, and mounting issues (not lining up) I am seriously considering taking it back to Walmart. Do they take online orders back in store? Do I have to ship it back to them? This thing is massive.

About the holes not lining up, someone said that each bar has it's own position, not only front/back placing but also directional position. Did you happen to check those, maybe the bars are supposed to face different direction? Someone said they couldn't line them up until they started over and moved the pieces around then they lined up.

Pls let us know.

PS: My plan was to use this as punching bag bar too, but I think it's too narrow for it, not a lot of people commented on it either, so I ended up buying a punching bag dual station rack with speed bag mount for $120 and that one was an excellent experience. At first one of the bars did not fit, I emailed Everlast, and they shipped me replacement part within 3 days. Amazing support. You definitely get what you pay for. I wouldn't even imagine what would happen if I got no-name from Walmart or Amazon..

This is why I was considering returning this cage and getting just the bench press set for $100 or so. I couldn't find everlas though, maybe they don't make it.
sorry for the late reply, didnt know slick deals had comment notifications. i did try playing around with the different limbs in different positions, left/ right, inverted etc and nothing. walmart support said to sum it up, "drop it off at your loca

Thanks, I sent it back unopened, I kept it nice and safe in the garage for WM to sell it to next poor soul, or someone who can build their own stuff because the metal alone should be worth half the selling price, Someone can fabricate something I am not sure.
