Be aware that the default battery is very bad.

It's not just the battery capacity, This one have no battery gauge and the use of cheap battery cells.

In general, recommend DCB203 or higher.

Love the blade switch on this Dewalt but already invested in Makita and Milwaukee. Don't want to start another brand. The new Makita starlock one is extremely good, I feel almost no vibration when operating.

I got the Acme deal last year at this price. plus shipping. This Amazon deal is better, if you have Prime. Yes the battery is 1.3amp, but if you are into the Dewalt ecosystem, it will all be good. In fact, I have used the small battery on several occasions, and it worked great.

That Makita one looks awesome but this DeWalt one is probably the best one out there. I'm invested in Makita and Milwaukee too but this oscillating tool is really good.

I have DeWalt batteries and tools, but have some Ryobi and Milwaukee 18/20v tools and convert them to my DeWalt batteries. But beware that the circuit protection is in the DeWalt tools, so just don't run the DeWalt batteries dry with the adapters. DeWalt batteries are pretty versatile. You may want to check your batteries to see if they convert to other brands with an adapter.
