The Rtx A2000 gpu runs on board power only, and is pretty much equivalent to the Rtx 3050. I think it can be had around $250, and can be used with a low profile bracket.

That RTX A2000 is interesting card. Thanks, wasn't aware of it. Its meant for workstation use seems. Lots of cores but lower clock speed. Nice that it only needs PCIe slot power.

However I can't find any from mainstream makers under $400. Theres a kinda shady looking vendor on Amazon at $300 but those look like OEM pulls

So, you'll walk out the door in most cases under $230, unlike earlier deals, this has a CPU that's compliant with Windows 11's 8th gen or higher requirement.
You can install windows 11 on any pc. There are tutorials everywhere.

Microsoft just forcing sheep to upgrade to newer spec pcs so that all the data Windows 11 is now tracking, won't slow them down as much.

LOL. I started looking at this unit for the exact same use case...probably the ALP from the Sam's deal as well. I think you may have sold me.
Go for it! I'm super happy with mine.

I'm planning on doing the dame for my ALP. Do you notice any flipper lag with this machine and FX3?
Zero with the config I mentioned.

Yes, you can circumvent Microsoft's REQUIREMENT today, but you need to ask, "Why is it a requirement?" Makes zero sense. Up to you of course.

I got this for $227 shipped about 6 weeks ago. It's GREAT for what it is. I'm going to use it for my AtGames Legends Ultimate Pinball BYOD. I've already thrown in a 1TB m.2 SSD and upgraded the RAM to 32GB. I also threw in a Zotac Geforce 1660 Super and stress tested the heck out of it and it does just fine with the stock PSU. I'm VERY happy with the end result of this build.
How can you use Zotac Geforce 1660 Super with stock PSU? Can you please elaborate?

Just get one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007Y8F...ct_details

I stress tested 3 different 1660s for over a month on this platform to ensure stability and had zero issues whatsoever so I've concluded that this PSU can handle a 1660 Super. In fact, I'm typing on it now.

Interesting. I got the same adapter also from Amazon but from other brand and it won't work. Might try yours to see if it works.

I've been using it for months now and it works fine. I've tried it on a Zotac 1660 non Super and Two Zotac 1660 Supers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1
