Correct, for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe the additional tracks are part of the "Booster Pass" DLC which is usually priced at $25 when purchased separately - or it might be included if you're at a certain tier of Switch Online membership.

Only Nintendo will have a game still holding full retail value years after release. Good deal,great game....just funny how only Nintendo had perfected long term value while ps, Xbox games drop so quickly in value.

MK8 Deluxe is the name of the port from Wii U to Switch. You need the NSO expansion pack to play the latest DLC (or buy it outright).

Is there a deluxer version that comes with the DLC? I have MK8 on the Wii U and was holding off purchasing for the Switch since I fully expect MK9 to be announced the day after I buy it.
