FYI – while Apple chargers are generally high quality, this SPECIFIC one is known for having terrible power efficiency and temperature issues. I'd give it a pass.

Edit: to save people having to click through the comments, it was rated an "E" with a Power Quality Score of 80/200, which you can verify here: https://pqs.app/devices?categoryId=1&vendorId=1

You might say, "there are lower ones than this from Apple!" and you'd be right, but notice how those are much lower wattages. In general, higher wattage chargers are more efficient nowadays. The other Apple charger on SD right now, the 96W, gets a 140/200, a very respectable efficiency level for a conservatively-designed, highly safe charger. (It is impossible for a charger to get 200/200 because of how power efficiency works, and you wouldn't necessarily want to buy one from a no-name versus Apple even if it did.)

I assume if you connect 2 devices it splits the output to 17.5W each

That is some serious Apple tax. It's like the price of an Amazon Fire tablet or an entry-level Android phone. No reduction in e-waste, maximum profits.

Would've been good for a pair of HomePod minis, that you've got paired to your Apple TV, but those need 20W each.

You guys really paying $45 for a plug? Apple could literally put their logo on an etch a sketch and sell it as the new iPad for toddlers $400 a pop. That's coming from someone with a few iPads, iPhones, and a MacBook so no apple hate. But it's a plug!

I got this charger with my MacBook Air and it's one of Apple's few GaN chargers and is fine, but would personally buy an Anker GaN product instead like the 735 that appears to be the same price right now, includes a USB-A port, and charges up to 60W.

They got a software update to only need 18W. But yeah, too bad it's still more than this adapter can handle.
