For Costco member, have Hunter 52" fan on sale for $99.99 after $40 off. Price valid from 3/1 - 3/27.

The Hunter 52" Apex LED ceiling fan features either a Brushed Nickel (Silver) or Matte Silver (Gray) finish with a Cased White glass which has a modern look sure to impress. The strong motor and 52" blade span produce a large amount of airflow which is sure to keep you cool in the summer and circulate the warm heat down in the winter. Running a ceiling fan in the proper direction all year round can help save energy and make you feel more comfortable. In the summertime, running your ceiling fan counter-clockwise will provide a cooling breeze while circulating the air. During the winter, a clockwise rotation will move the cooler air off the floor and push the warm air down the walls without the strong draft. The fan uses 2 x LED bulbs for energy efficient lighting.

Nice price - I need a few to replace some in a house I just bought. 2 things from the reviews that stand out - the reverse switch is INSIDE the light assembly so apparently you need to remove the globe to get to the switch, the remote doesn't have a reverse. There was also a comment about this not fitting in a standard light fixture ceiling mount.

Anyone actually own this and can confirm? How is the light output? I like a bright light if I am going to use in a bedroom.

abt 3500 cfm. Seems less for a big living room. may be good for bedrooms. Thoughts? No wattage rating provided too. I have one Hunter ceiling fan and it is a bit disappointing in its speed. Its like the video posted for this fan which is not impressive at all.

Agreed. 3500cfm is on the slower side. There is another 52" fan at Costco for $99 as well. It is 4,500 cfm. I purchased that one. (available in store and online)

Could you please let us know how bright that fan is after you install it?

This model appears to have the same 9 watt bulbs and globe as the ones that we bought. It wasn't very bright and we had to add additional lighting to the rooms.

For the last several Hunter Fans I installed, the reason for the light not to bright because Hunter designed to paint inside the frosted globe with white paint!!! Once you remove that layer of paint, the light should be pretty good.

Just a warning for those that want to incorporate this in a "smart home". These do not play well with smart home fan switches. They want you to use their garage remote or up pay for their smart fan.
