This cpu is a monster and the igpu is 2nd most powerful ever released, BUT:

Just a heads up, AMD's labeling scheme for 7000 series cpus is misleading. Some of the 7000 cpus are just renamed last gen cpus with a little higher boost.

This cpu is basically a 6800HS with 50mhz higher boost. It's based Zen 3+ and not the newest Zen 4 architecture.

It's still has the 680m integrated graphics though, which is the second most powerful igpu, behind the newest 780m of Zen 4 cpus.

This is a gaming laptop and the performance of the iGPU is irrevant here. Overall, this is a highly overpriced gaming laptop, probably due to early release. It has an extremely poor display for the price, low capacity Battery and a low end 4000 series GPU with lower performance than a full powered RTX 3060. There are plenty of laptop deals at this price right now, with better build quality, Display, higher performance 12th Gen i7 CPU, and RTX 3060 graphics. IdeaPad Gaming 3 is Lenovo's lowest tierGaming laptop with inferior build quality and no point of getting this at this price just because it has a rebranded older CPu and 4000 series CPU. In fact, at the same price, we have the 2023 Gigabyte G5 and MSI katatana series with similar spec and RTX 4060.

So the entry level gaming IdeaPad just got bumped to 8 core from 5600 -> 6600 -> 7735. It's something meme.jpg. Hey remember when we used to laugh at Intel for using the same core for multiple generations...

I have hopes for 4050 tho after the 3050 which brought like zero power efficiency advantage over 1650 despite the process shrink.

Let's see if it will eventually reach $600 or less this year BF.
