As long as it gets a few minutes of daylight it will maintain current charge. Inside artificial lights will take a couple of hours to maintain current charge.
It will takes a few hours of direct sunlight to get it from empty to fully charge. Much longer if artificial lights are use.
Fully charged to empty will takes 6 to 9 months in complete darkness.
Personally once fully charged all my Casio solar watches stay at high level. Never dropping to medium level. I don't leave the watch in total darkness. I leave the watches in the open where room lights maintain and charged the watch.
Battery life is at least 10 years. Some Casio tough solar watches are still working without a battery change for over 20 years according to Casio owners.
Overall multi band 6 + tough solar = 0 maintenance. G-shock is the gold standard of durability.

I have a very similar watch I bought from Costcto like 15 years ago. The watch is still working great, but I had to replace the plastic band. It is absolutely zero maintenance otherwise. Never change a battery, never set the time, never worry about taking it off for any activity.
I have had 3 of these watches through the years and on every one at about the 2 year mark the resin band will harden then crack and fall apart. Otherwise it is a great watch.
