SSD speed on the new models only matters if you're a YouTube tech reviewer running benchmarks. No difference real world.

These don't come with 256 gigs of storage as base. They start at 512. You might be confused with the 13 inch pro or the air.

Purchased lots from the warehouse. It's hit or miss. Mostly good luck for me. Always free returns so really no worries.

Actually, I bought this exact model in "Acceptable" condition from the Amazon Warehouse a couple months ago. The only physical damage was a light scratch on the exterior. It had only been used for 8 battery cycles and still had 8 months left on the warranty. However, it only came with a 65W power adapter instead of the 140W on the product page. No retail box either, if that matters.

I mistyped. I meant to say 512, I was thinking of the Mini. Regardless, the throughput increases from 3000 MB/s with the M2 Pro chip and 512GB to 6000 MB/s once you go to 1TB
