Watching 3d movies on a VR headset is actually way better than 3D tvs or what youd see in the theater (IMO). Not what you were asking but figured I'd give a helpful reply to a troll-ish post lol. FYI I'd hold off on getting the Pro. The Quest 3 comes out later this year, and it'll have the newer Snapdragon processor. So while it may have fewer cameras/sensors compared to the Pro, it'll actually be more powerful which means the quest 3 will be what developers tailor their games for spec-wise (the quest Pro power-wise is just an overclocked Quest 2, same processor)

I read this is the new msrp. So I would wait longer if you don't need to get it right now. Maybe 700 bucks for a good deal?

I mean the average consumer can't drop 1k on an toy like that they may not even enjoy.,. I even heard people talking about the Quest 2 newer MSRP being insane.

In a good way or bad? It was original 400 for the 256gb a while back, then up 500,now back down to 430. Unless that was a typo and you meant the quest 3.

256Gb is overkill for the majority of people. I'm talking about the base $400 128Gb model. When it originally was $299 for 128Gb. No mention when it dropped that the price would increase over time. Then they claim we'll give you an free $15 game included!

3DTV was ahead of its time due to poor resolution and VR is the same way. Once you're in the headset it's blocky 360p. 3D could actually make a comeback now with UHD 4K but once the consumers are skeptical it becomes too risky. VR/AR will probably go the same route.
