I got this back at $800. I've never heard better personally. The biggest thing that impresses me about this unit is I can listen below "15" on the volume and don't feel like a miss anything I might hear at "30", for example. The sub, especially, is extra competent at lower volumes. No dropouts on my unit. A+

Well I ended up pulling the trigger. I stacked cb from another site for $50 back and paid via PayPal where I had a 13% Samsung cashback offer saved. If everything works out I would have paid $1,014 -$50 -$132 = $832 after tax.

Already got email confirmation from PayPal for the cb.

Man my experience has been different. I feel like I can barely hear the sub if at all. I tried doing the auto EQ and the SpaceFit and nothing. Same with the surrounds. I could barely hear anything out of them while watching an Atmos movie until I manually turned up all the level on the surround speakers. Now I can hear surround sounds during movies but I don't know if the level is accurate or if I'm overdoing it. For the price, this feels like a huge step down from even the cheapest model Denon receiver with room correction features. I wonder if I'm doing anything wrong...

Can't mention the site but if you search for samsung cashback on Google, I'm sure you can find it. It's 10% but only UP to $50 though. And it hasn't tracked for me yet. First time using the site.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but eArc is useful for passing through signals from the TV to the sound bar and being able to control the sound bar using the TV remote (and vice verse). If you don't have that on the projector then just connect via HDMI BUT connect your devices directly to the sound bar.

My sub is placed in a corner at 45 degrees if that helps.
