Packed with functionality!

Samsung free tv guide streaming service is good. Limited commercials (60 second approx, average) with 24/7 funny clips, Portlandia channels, Hells Kitchen, etc.

It's a white monitor so unless it's your only one in office, placement could matter... The white is Suited perfectly for Kitchen or dining room, and with AirPlay support 🤩 -

I won't recommend 1080p even for office work.

Right. What's the point of this?

I'll presume to answer for them. Two reasons: low lpi means text will look big and/or pixelated, and overall low resolution means you won't be able to see much, i.e., one browser window or document.

27" is a good size. 1080p at that size is bad, IMO.

1080p is spread out too much on a 27" screen. You will get a lot more productivity by using a 1440p 27" monitor because you can fit more windows clearly.

Especially for a 27" 1080p expands too much. Icons don't seem sharp at all. 60hz is good but the text and mouse pointer isn't sharp enough.

Also if you plan to game on the same monitor most games these days are releasing with 1440 or 2160 support. If you want to future proof that then probably should consider a better resolution.

Is there a place to see all apps that can be downloaded to this?

Edit: after digging in Plex and Samsung site, it appears Plex app is officially supported on this device. It would be nice if Samsung provided a comprehensive list. Would like to confirm HBO Max, Xbox Game Pass, HDHomeRun apps.

Me too, I have no problem with 1080p up to 24" for office work, but anything bigger and I want better resolution on a monitor.
