Is it worth upgrading to this from Nvidia 2070 Super?

Why are prices on these things going up again? I am really losing patience with this market.

There are 6750XTs that hit as low as $360-$370 and 6700XTs at $350 is usually the norm.

Only if you sell me your 2070.

In all honesty, if you don't have a game that you are suffering in, you can probably hold out a little longer. I have a 980ti and I am still able to get by for a little longer. I've gamed on my brother 6700XT, and it's pretty great at 3440x1440 for Warzone etc. But, I am playing on my 980ti and getting good enough framerates.

Nvidia and AMD are both sitting on stock of the last gen before releasing the lower tiered cards (7700XT/4060ti). To me, it makes sense to hold out for those cards to be released and continue to push the last gen lower. I like to run a pretty quiet, low TDP rig. The newest gen should get you a little better efficiency, so I am going to wait.

Might as well buy a 6700 XT on ebay for $100 less.

That make sense. I am no hurry to upgrade. I'll wait. Thanks.

Agree. I had a Vega 64 and it was capable of 1440 even on Ultra with some settings turned down. Could get 90-100 fps on Division 2 with that. I jumped on the 6700xt when the prices seemed to level off at $340ish and it's been a welcome upgrade and getting 130fps on default Ultra settings. But honestly, the overall experience didn't suffer all that much with the Vega 64.

I think right now, I'm just waiting for decent price or performance that would really knock my socks of. I think jumping up to 1440 with HDR was a huge leap for me and made me appreciate the gaming experience.

This is 27% faster than a 2070 super, so as everyone responded, unless your gaming resolution changed, you should be good.

I have the prev 6700XT and it's a monster at 1080p and good for 1440p. If RT isn't a deal breaker, even the 6700XT at $360 (powercolor) is a great card.

One comment in favor of the XFX tri-fan. They run cool and quiet, the heatsink is overkill for the GPU and it looks beastly mounted. Make sure you have the space to fit this card!

Thanks. I'll hold for now.
I currently have Zotac Gaming 2070 Super. It runs cool too. Never gets over 65'c at full load.

Not true. The "norm" based on the last 6 months is around $400 for 6750xt and $360-$380 for 6700xt. That's based on pricing from Amazon, Newegg, BestBuy, and B&H NIB units. Just because a flash sale occurs for 2 hours on 1 unit does not equal "norm"

It's not my fault you can't find deals on a SD market site
