I would never purchase another Gourmia. I had one with the basket handle melting off after a year of usage. Another purchased from Costco, also broke after 3 months of use; luckily Costco refunded no questions asked. Got a Cosori, very happy with it.

I have two Gourmia 8 qts from Walmart, one 7 qt from Costco and 5 year old 6 qt from Best Buy i use them often, they all work fine. My 6 qt handle broke after cooking a lot of whole (heavy) chickens, found a replacement handle on ebay so thats back in shape.

Currently its $50 ($60 online shipping included) but has been on sale several times for $40 in warehouse, which I payed.
