Write speed looks to be double for the 2TB vs 1 TB, so paying extra for that I assume. But not worth it IMHO
If you look at the reviews on Amazon, you can see that people are getting ~6500mb/s for write speed on 1tb version, which is comparable with the write speed on 2tb version.
Either way this is a decent deal on a top-tier drive. It'll perform as well the more popular Phison E18 controllers with equally-equipped 176L TLC. You will probably need to passively cool this with an additional heatsink. You might not need active cooling like you'd see with E26-based drives, or Samsung's 990 Pro (Pablo). Those use even higher layer counts, and more robust controllers. However, you'll have to plan a little around routing a fan cable to your NVMe cooler.
Still, all memory and storage prices are falling so maybe wait it out for even deeper discounts.
Acer licensed brand to them. They are the manufacturer
The sad ( or the best bit for Acer) part of the grandeur of licensing is Acer won't cover the warranty. If the much Smaller player BIWIN goes Bankrupt - your bad drive is useless. Not questioning the quality of the product itself - but the worst part for the customer as most folks especially on SD will jump at such low prices on NVMes with really good speeds like this.

Also includes heatsink so overall would be cheaper too.

So you are essentially buying a BIWIN NVMe and not an ACER.
