WORX NITRO Brushless 4-Tool Combo kit $99.99

I was at my local Sams Club and noticed the above combo tool set on Clearance for $99.99. YMMV prices may vary by store.

The ultra-portable and easy-to-handle Worx Nitro WX531L 20V Power Share WORXSAW 4.5 in. Cordless Compact Circular Saw with Brushless Motor might be small, but it's more than powerful enough to get the job done. With 6900 RPM of no-load speed, it's able to spin the blade as fast as cordless circular saws that are much larger. The 4.5 in. blade only has a 3/8 in. arbor. That's half the size of a traditional circular saw's blade, and it allows the motor to push the blade to higher speeds. And the user benefits from having all that power in an easy to grip and easy to transport form factor. In fact, this compact circular saw weighs less than 4 lbs., so it's much easier to maneuver and make tricky cuts with than a full-size circular saw.
Speaking of cuts, this 4.5 in. circular saw was made to cut 2x4s and plywood. With a max cutting depth of 1.5 in., it slices right through. And 0-46 degree bevel cuts are as easy as setting the bevel-adjustment lever. This cordless circular saw is driven by a high-efficiency brushless motor.
It doles out more power but uses less battery while doing so, which means you get more runtime on just one charge. This 20V circular saw has a comfortable grip as well, so you can put in the hours and not feel it as much in your hands afterward. This Worx Nitro WX531L 20V Power Share WORXSAW 4.5 in. Cordless Compact Circular Saw with Brushless Motor is the more nimble version of the full-size cordless circular saw.
The Worx Nitro WX102L 20V Power Share ½" Cordless Drill/Driver with Brushless Motor is built to last, with all-metal gears for performance you can count on during even the most demanding jobs, and an all-metal heavy-duty 1/2"- in. ratcheting chuck which practically eliminates bit slippage. 2-speed gearing and a variable speed trigger allow the user to find the perfect rotation from 0-600 RPM or 0-2000 RPM.

The quality should be comparable, but with tools, it's really easy to be penny smart, pound foolish. Long term, you're going to want to have the same brand/voltage tools so the batteries can be used interchangeably.

No one asked me, but if I was just getting into tools, unless I specifically needed a circular saw or flashlight, I think I would pick up a brushless Impact Driver from Ryobi, and some impact rated driving bits and hex drill bits. Something like this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-HP-18V-Brushless-Cordless-Compact-1-4-in-Impact-Driver-Kit-wit... [homedepot.com] and this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../309321430.

That's going to cover all of the most common household tasks and it gets you into a robust tool ecosystem.

I second that advice. I started in the Ryobi ecosystem about 12 years ago and have never regretted it. I do a lot of building and I'm rough on my tools. Not one of the 25+ 18v tools that I own have given me issues. Mine take a beating and have never failed me. I still remember when I got my first impact driver... I was like "How have I lived my life this far without one of these!" 😂 I've got couple DeWalt tools and recently purchased a couple Milwaukee framing nailers but unless you're a pro, just do yourself and your pocketbook a favor and go with Ryobi

I'm such a brand whore. I just got some Milwaukee, and I'm pretty sure the Ryobi work just fine for my needs. I barely use them but I just like to feel special each time I use these M18 fuel tools LOL. Also I will baby them instead of toss them around and banging them haha

I need to have the right descipline as you, but my decision was mainly due to buying their M18 polisher. I said eff it, gonna get all my tools Milwaukee and hold for 10+ yrs. I'm what's wrong with america lol

I own far more Ryobi 18 volt tools than I do Worx. I love them both, but Worx tools seem to carry a certain aura not found on Ryobi tools. I'm impressed by their postless batteries than can fit on my pocket without sending the wrong message to the world, unlike Ryobi. Worx 2ah 20 volt batteries perform marvelously. Worx makes a fan that can charge a battery while it runs. Worx makes an 80 volt mower that uses four 20 volt batteries to power it. Ryobi's tools may be a little more powerful, but Worx tools are usually more ergonomic and look nicer. Their batteries are so much easier to install than Ryobi's 18 volt batteries. I have Worx older 5 hour charger, which I love. I prefer slow charging my batteries. Worx newer chargers are faster.

Nothing wrong with that as long as you're aware of it :-) I justify frivolous Milwaukee purchases with one of my favorite quotes...

What's the return policy on Sam's club tools? Can I return them 3 years later without hassle? Or are they not like Costco?

Sams Club return policy is not that generous. I dont know about tools but for electronics its 90 days.

I like my worx. Blower and trimmer also using since last year with out issue. I recommend it. I never used ryobi. My personal impact drivers are 12V makita. They work fine. I don't need worx tools for now but if I need it I would buy it 👍
