This is the same outlet pricing they run every couple of months at this point.... Usually outlet stuff are returned or scuffed or something but they're full warranty so shouldn't be a concern.... the PB2k at $599 is a terrific deal for a moderately sized space

It's been this $599 price now for months! they made too many of them or they did not sell as many as they thought because previously when they made more of these pb's they were $499 and they sold like hot cakes. Honestly, the $599 price are not returns, they are just trying to get rid of them and by saying they are "outlets" units, they can price it $599. You can still go on there site and buy it for $699 but that is just to save face with there dealers who are mostly selling it for $699 even thou I have seen a few of them drop it down to $599 on amazon from time to time for brand new unit. That said, the Pb-2000 is a very good sub, two of them really work well in a moderate sized room! SVS Customer service is Outstanding!! This sub , however, would be even better at $499 like a few years ago!!

I would go with with PB2000, more punch.. 2 subs would do great but need specific placement and room correction

Picked up a pb1000 to replace an ancient onkyo unit from a home theater in a box.

I always read that subs are worth spending the money on. First thing I watched was mavericks joyride through the attack course. About five seconds in it was obvious it was money well spent.

Thinking of picking up 2 PB2000 pros that are blemished for my dedicated basement theater. I built a theater for a friend and he has 1 and it sounds amazing. Any thoughts on those vs the non-pros listed here? I currently have 2 Andrew Jones' pioneer 8" subs.

Can confirm. I got an outlet PB 1000 around the holidays and it looks and performs absolutely like brand new.

How much better is the pb2000 vs the Klipsch r-12sw?

Running a Yamaha rx575 and Klipsch RP 5.1 system in a open concept area with tall ceilings. Love the Klipsch towers, and just like the 12sw sub. Not sure if it's worth upgrading the sub, receiver, or just fine tuning my current setup.

Do it. While there is no way for me to actually describe a sonic product over the internet, I have two PB2K Pros in my setup. They are fantastic.
