That's an awesome price for a 4090 (compared to other offerings… I got a 4080 Legion for around this price… 😑😑😑
Where's the "brag page" with all pictures and how theirs is the best brand and such? Vapor chambers?
Just saw that you can get liquid cooling for this laptop for an extra $150… Does it have normal cooling? How is it?
I've heard of the brand for ages, but does anyone have experience with their laptops? Is this a rebrand? How is support? Driver updates from them or Windows Updates?
Yeah this is tempting... but keep in mind this is essentially a 4080 16GB desktop with a power limit of 175W. So not exactly the same in performance but should get close enough. I don't know how well thr liquid cooling setup works, but it can be nice to keep this thing cool while gaming at home. Definitely worth the 150 if it works well.

Read the suggestion section. All these laptops are from same ODM tongfang and sold by different vendors with different names. XMG Neo, Eluktronics Mech, Maingear vector all have the same laptop. Regarding liquid cooling, I'm a bit surprised to hear that you aren't aware of it. It was introduced last year and multiple reviewers have reviewed it. Check Jarod's Tech review for the XPG version.

There are multiple reviews of Elukronics and XMG version of it. Check Jarrod's Tech and OwnorDisown. aIt is pretty effective. Check the review below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XnU1W607rs
All laptops with the 40 series are trash due to the power limit. Your paying top tier money for half the performance of its desktop version.
They are way more expensive than they need to be, no doubt.
But, you do get 13th gen beast cpus, faster ram (my Legion has 32gb 5600), and frame generation (fake frames), plus my 4080 doesn't have to work as hard to play games that my 3070 (vanilla) had to work harder to play.
It's your money and you can do what you want with it.

I wouldn't say 50% performance. If you are saying 4090 desktop vs 4090 laptop, then sure... But remember the 4090 laptop is really just a 4080 Desktop with power limit of 175W. These chips are pretty decent at lower wattage so I would say the 4090 laptop works around 80% of the 4080 desktop. Which is pretty decent. Again assuming you have sufficient cooling which according the reviews, the liquid cooling can get you.
