This router is awful. In general, Netgear makes very good network equipment but this particular model is something different. I experienced all kind of issues as soon as I tried to connect it to my modem and set it up: (1) It couldn't detect my Internet connection (advice: clone your desktop's MAC address, it will help until you upgrade firmware), however... (2) if new firmware didn't fix this issue for you, you're SOL because after reboot internet connection will be lost until you factory reset it and clone your desktop's MAC again, and so on... (3) randomly cuts internet connection for wireless devices, especially Apple branded; (4) randomly cuts internet connection for wired devices; (5) from time to time some parts of web GUI just disappear like they never existed. I can continue but I think you've got the idea. Replacement unit had exactly the same issues, and I gave up and returned it for a refund.
