Obviously you've never met anyone that does estimating, construction, architecture, or engineering. Yes, we use NUMBERS (shocking I know) and hence the need for a NUMERIC keypad. It's far faster and more convenient than using the top row number keys. I, like others here and because I'm in one of those fields, would not consider a laptop w/o a numeric keypad.

I dont know how much laptop gaming tech has improved over my old Alienware m11x R3 days, but is a laptop i7 and 3070ti really same performance as desktop equivalents now?
