honest question are Razer just gimmick? i bought a few razer product they just don't last and overhype IMO, keyboard just not on same level as logitech G despite costing more, they are fragile, doesn't feel good typing, their mid $50 gaming mouse feels just like any gaming prebuild PC gaming mouse, their cat ear headset although looks cute but sound quality just on par with any dollar store earbud (no joke) friend of mine got a gaming laptop from them and it only last 2 months then motherboard failed from overheat (although their warranty cover it but kinda hassle spending that money)

Sounds like you don't like Razer. While they're not a perfect company, nobody else makes a gaming laptop that competes with theirs. That's why ASUS sells theirs for half the price.

i really wanted to like them, they do have good aesthetic compare to logitech, its just my when i paid $25-$30 for a logitech G602 is a whole different world compare to Razer mice, which i really really wanted to like and their headset looks good but just doesn't feel right, my steelseries although not perfect but it just work
for gaming laptop lenovo are solid build for the price, alienware although hated by most people i think they are really well built and if anything happen dell sent tech directly to your house to fix. HP i would say forget it...

I also use Steelseries mice. They're the most comfortable for some reason.
