Is bolt better than unifying? I see bolt has something about better security but in a single family house can someone hack a mouse? Lol I feel dumb but I've searched with no luck
It is designed for busy offices, etc to cut down on interference, and as you mentioned, security. I don't have personal experience with it yet. I have owned the MX Mini for a year so Logitech sent me an anniversary promo code which I used to buy the business model. It still hasn't shipped. Will pair both with the bolt. I got tired of the interference with the cell phone and my current mouse causing lag. And I am hoping it will be better on my hand (arthritis). I am just surprised they made the same mouse with 2 different connection technologies ….More info on bolt:

I hope someone who has used both unified and bolt will comment and share their experience.

Thanks, I was looking at mice the other day and noticed the same mouse (forget the model) but one package had the bolt and one had the unifying and I couldn't find anything about bolt. I've been using unifying forever and it's weird they just kind of threw bolt out there without a proper explanation
YW. The bolt receiver costs $15 by itself. So getting the business model for $46,74 seemed decent to me since it includes the receiver. I have used the MX mini thus far on bluetooth with zero issues though. As luck would have it I never got to use the unifying tech as my previous mouse and keyboard were very old but still working great. I lost them in a house fire. I was just happy to finally see Logi make a mini backlit multi-device keyboard again like I had before. So I figured why not try out the bolt since I will have 2 devices to pair with it.
The MX mini "for business" seems to be same as regular model but includes the bolt receiver. I would have thought this mouse was the same way.

I bought the mouse in the deal about a month ago after the ball fell out of my OG trackman mouse, thinking I could swap the ball out and that didn't work well
I did get used to this one in a few days but still missed my OG trackman (found the ball about a month later, was stuck in a hard to reach area under the couch).
All in all it's easy to use and I'm keeping it for a back up should I ever need it.

I noticed the stand alone bolt dongle, I couldn't find if you can mix unifying and bolt devices (unifying kb, bolt mouse) with the bolt dongle. It seems from everything I could find that bolt is not compatible with previous devices.
