Put an add on next-door app. You will get a response. And listen to all the crazy people that think they hear gun shots or issuing an alert because the ups driver walked to the door awkwardly

How much can I rent this for in socal
Quote from Lobbymonster :
Realistically, about $200/mo.
SoCal is a big place. In South Orange County a 10x7 room would be more like $1k 😭

I would have bought this, but we have an 8' fence and for anything above 8,' and visible we need to get permission from the City and HOA. It's a PITA.

Cover the roof with fake green shrubs. LOL

Would like to use this as a wfh office. Just a desk, chair, and computer set up.

Thoughts?
Don't do it

The answer was: Post an advertisement on the next-door app to get someone to build your shed.

The rest of the post was nonsense.

It's not insulated at all and lacking adequate ventilation. You could do it, but you'll be pretty miserable

Going to need to run electrical to it. Depending where you live, may need AC. Biggest issue are the vents. You will need to devise a method to cover them to prevent rain entering the unit.

Depending on where you're located you might be able to find a handyman on Craigslist or Offerup. If you're able us a power drill you should be able to put the shed together. I purchased a similar 7x10 Keter shed a couple months ago. I'm not a big DIY'er but gave it a shot.
The problem is the foundation. Getting a 8 × 10 stable and leveled foundation is not a easy job.

This shed looks great and it's around $2000 on other websites. But there are not many reviews. Probably a new style...
This is a Costco exclusive. The sliding door makes it appealing for my location but the seals are probably pretty bad like a interior barn door

Shipping container shed.
I actually have a shipping container on my property. Mice still get in. Little chumps.

Good to know. I'd probably keep the door open the entire time and run a fan I think, sounds like comfort would def depend on the weather for me

The spot I had in mind is just a few feet from the house in a tiny backyard, and I have a 20 foot power strip and an outdoor outlet that I think would solve this. Good call, thanks for raising it.

Good to know about the vents, I'll look into that!

For one this small, I'd just pour a little slab. Easier to get cement flat, square and level than gravel or dirt.

Juat finished building it. Took 2 evenings and a six pack, by myself.
Overal good quality.
Arrived in 2 giant heavy boxes on a double pallet.

Somebody asked earlier- door is not sealed in any way, its a hanging slider.
