It's not uncommon for products that have an established production line, to further enhance the product via value-adding methodologies like 'sight-challenged' enhancements. The green outlines assist more accurate plugging of 'bricks' - especially in darker situations, like power outlets that predominantly lie behind/underneath furniture. If this line is truly an after effect of APC production lines; the marketing R&D for 'overlapping' safety features like these visual enhancements, essentially carry over to tertiary markets like an Amazon. Other notable unique features like the downward lip, that protects the power switch from getting inadvertently kicked off/on, are further examples of the benefit consumers get from these value spaces. OTOH; there were some of us at the FTC that despised Amazon for predicable abuse-of-power issues that result in 'billionaire abuse', with labor and minimal expense increases being multiplied and heaped upon the masses. A now all-to-common theme.

FWIW reviews on Amazon state there is a UL label on units they have received. Wouldn't think warranty would cover $20k of stuff without UL/ETL.
Plug isn't right angle type.

Taking a subtle hint from the 4 green outlined brick outlets, I wouldn't be surprised if these were the only outlets out of the 12 that were protected.
Unit looks cheap, but then again most surge protectors look cheap.
From the Questions section on Amazon listing:

All the outlets are protected.
By Christine Wei Manufacturer on July 8, 2019

Still, it makes you wonder why they put the green around the widely spaced outlets. Anyone can see they are widely spaced, without the green. Kind of dumb.

Many power strips have non-switched outlets. Not sure if thats the case here though

I bought this from Amazon. Maybe a year ago for a similar price. Works fine as intended. The extra space helps fit odd shaped plugs.
No issues with my ps5, Xbox x, laptop, 2 monitors, 2 usb c chargers.

This should have 10k upvotes. The right angle plugs on these are essential IMO. A thick power cord that protrudes from the wall is so irritating behind entertainment centers, beds, dressers, etc.

I had this few weeks.

Two neg:
-The green LED light bar is difficult to cover with electrical tape
- toggle on off while on the side seemed easy to bump under desk and turn off

Mine fried after lamp plugged in shorted out from bad wires inside. Cheap Walmart twist to assemble lamp was issue not the apc white label. Not sure if any surge would survive a short like this?

I have one as well. The green led is also really bright. Do not use this in a bedroom. In the daytime with lights and tv on I can see the green glow from behind my av cabinet.
