It's not a bad deal, as far as what's been seen lately, especially with a 12700 instead of a 12400. But it's hard to support 3060/6700xt level builds over and over for $1k as component prices have dropped. You can build one with a 5600/6700xt with better ram, nvme, psu and case for around $850 now.

Yes. I'd go with AM5 right now with recent bundle deals.

Unsurprisingly getting a CPU that's $90-$150 cheaper will save you some money you can spend elsewhere.

This is a decent deal and, most importantly, uses standard parts that can be upgraded/replaced if necessary.

There is some value in buying a (good) prebuilt system. If something goes wrong, you have a one stop shop for warranty service rather than dealing with the manufacturers of different components. Also, some people aren't interested in building it themselves, which is fine.

I have this same system from a Walmart Black Friday deal, it was $900 at the time. It didn't output video on bootup but reseating the GPU fixed it and it's run perfectly fine since then.

While troubleshooting the display issue, I both called and emailed with Cyberpower support and they were helpful and responsive.

I wasn't interested in building my own and this has worked out well. Only complaint is I wish the case had better airflow in the front. Temps haven't been high enough to be concerned, just runs a little hot.

AM5 build is the best since you can upgrade to newer CPU later.
